David Voehringer

Biography

David Voehringer – Since 2010, Professor at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and Head of the Department of Infection Biology, University Hospital Erlangen   He was Junior Group Leader, Emmy-Noether Program of the German Research Foundation (DFG) at the Institute of Immunology, Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich (LMU) from 2005-2010.  He completed hisPost-Doc at the University of California San Francisco in the lab of Richard Locksley between 2002-2005 and his PhD work at the University of Freiburg, Germany, in the lab of Hanspeter Pircher from 1998-2002. David Voehringer studied Biology at Biology at the University of Tuebingen and University of Freiburg, Germany and also was a Summer student at the Basel Institute for Immunology in the lab of Ed Palmer in 1998.
